Provisions:
- Each registered student may print 600 pages per semester at no cost. One page equals one side of a sheet of paper.
- Allowing others access to your computer login and password can jeopardize your paper allotment since print credits are tracked by user name.
- To print documents in the open labs, login (without student container) to the Print Release Station next to the printers.
- If you paper balance is "0", you may purchase additional paper in whole dollar increments at the Pcounter Vending Station in the Library ETC Lab.
- The print balance of $30.00 is based on black and white print costs at 5 cents per page (600 x 0.05 =30) in dollar amounts only and no refunds.
- For example:
- $30.00 = 600 pages
- $20.00 = 400 pages
- $10.00 = 200 pages
- $ 1.00 = 20 pages
Unused pages are not carried forward to the next semester.
Miscellaneous provisions:
- Misprint Credits: On occasion, a printer may not produce a page of an acceptable quality. To receive credit for misprints, students must bring the evidence to the UITS Open Lab CCT 124. The UITS Open Lab manager makes the final decision as to acceptable quality.
- CSU faculty and staff are given a printing balance of $10.00 based on black and white print costs at .05 cents per page (200 x .05 = $10.00)
- When faculty or staff need additional paper to print in a lab, submit an eQuest.
